IESF Regional Meeting in Lausanne 2024

Victor Carulla, Managing Partner of Headway Executive Search, participated on April 10, 11, and 12 in the IESF Regional Meeting in the wonderful Swiss city of Lausanne. This year, more than 30 partners from 20 different countries gathered, embodying the spirit of collaboration and innovation that defines IESF.
The International Executive Search Federation is one of the most recognized international organizations for executive search in the world. Identifying talent and leadership through more than 50 offices in 26 countries, we are globally known as “The Local Experts” because we understand regional markets and their specific needs when it comes to executive search and selection.
During this meeting, topics such as the state of the European market and future forecasts were discussed by Gertjan Van de Groep. There were also interactive sessions focused on best practices, business development, processes, organization, and technology, fostering an environment where all voices are heard and valued.
Additionally, the presentation of the XII edition of the prestigious HRcoreLAB event in Barcelona 2024 was shared, where IESF had the honor of being the only headhunting organization at this spectacular event. As representatives of IESF, both Alyssa Lince Boyd, our Partner and Country Manager of Panama, and Victor Carulla, Partner and Country Manager of Spain and Portugal, attended.
Various other interesting topics were highlighted, such as the presentation on AI in Executive Search by Bibi B. and Kirsten Hummel-van de Groep and the Debate on Diversity and Inclusion led by Adelina Rosca and Vincenzo Ganci. In addition, the Cross-Border Development Working Group by Éva Fehér, Adelina Rosca, and Dror Katabi, emphasized the commitment to expanding IESF’s horizons.

We had the pleasure of hosting Frédéric Chardot (Chief Human Resources Officer, Audemars Piguet), who dazzled us with this wonderful firm founded in 1875. He explained how a family business can care so much and so well for its employees, with an enviable culture and surprising and unprecedented altruistic gestures.
As the icing on the cake, we visited the Cailler factory. (Cailler is the oldest Swiss chocolate brand, founded by François-Louis Cailler in 1819, and later acquired by Nestlé in 1929), enjoying a unique experience and crafting our own chocolate bars.
From Headway Executive Search, we are very grateful to each and every one of the IESF partners who joined us at the IESF Regional Meeting. Participation and each idea contribute to becoming better firms, better professionals, and better people.
Special thanks to the extraordinary hosts, Vincenzo Ganci and Rahma Dia, whose dedication and work made the event possible.
