IESF Annual Global Meeting 2024

From 7 to 10 October 2024, our managing partner, Victor Carulla, participated in the IESF Annual Global Meeting 2024, which this year took place in the city of Amsterdam. In collaboration with our partner, Van de Groep & Olsthoorn | Executive Search & Interim Management, the event brought together the 26 international partners to share knowledge and discuss the latest trends in executive search, artificial intelligence (AI), Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and leadership in an ever-changing business environment.

The meeting was not only an opportunity to strengthen our global network, but also to enjoy moments of inspiration and learning. Here are some of the highlights:

“Insights of The Netherlands ’ by Gertjan Van de Groep – We started the event with an in-depth insight into the Dutch market and economy, highlighting the relevance of being part of a global organisation, where we can serve local clients in more than 26 countries.

Introducing new partners – Christian Smith from Level Recruitment, a headhunting firm based in Sweden, gave us a new perspective on that market, and was unanimously voted to be our new IESF partner in Sweden.

Masterclass on Microexpressions by Job Boersma – A session on the subtle expressions that can influence candidate assessment. We even had the opportunity to apply what we learned in an interactive game with a live actor.

Technology and AI by Wim de Kruijf, Dominique Hommes and Kirsten Hummel-van de Groep – We explored how AI and new technologies are transforming the world of executive search, and how we are integrating these innovations into our processes to stay ahead of the curve.

They also took the opportunity to explore the culture of Amsterdam with a visit to the Rijksmuseum.
