OBS Business School: Webinar: Trends in Recruitment

Last Thursday, May 9, our Managing Partner, Víctor Carulla, delivered an online masterclass on new recruitment trends at OBS Business School.

During the event, we thoroughly explored the latest transformations in the field of recruitment. In a world where technology is advancing rapidly and social and economic dynamics are constantly changing, it is essential to stay updated on how these factors impact the job market.

We began the talk by analyzing the current employment landscape and emerging opportunities. We also discussed the importance of understanding the technological, economic, and social trends that are shaping the future of work. Additionally, we highlighted how artificial intelligence and automation are revolutionizing selection processes and the way companies search for talent.

Throughout the session, we discussed the qualities most valued in candidates today. We emphasized the need to balance soft skills and hard skills, underscoring how the right combination of interpersonal competencies and technical knowledge can make a difference in a selection process.

Finally, we dedicated a significant portion of the talk to interview preparation. We offered practical advice on how to prepare for an interview, such as researching the company and the job position, the importance of taking care of personal appearance, and the physical environment where the interview will take place, whether in person or online.
